Funding For Indigenous Entrepreneurs

Futurpreneur's Indigenous Loan Program is designed to provide financing and mentorship support to Indigenous entrepreneurs in Canada who are between the ages of 18 and 39 and have a business idea that is in the pre-launch or early stage. The loan program offers up to $60,000 in financing to help start or grow your business. The loan is repayable over a period of up to 5 years, with flexible repayment terms and no penalties for early repayment.

Eligible Applicants
  • You must be between the ages of 18 and 39.

  • Business stage: Your business must be in the pre-launch or early stage (less than 12 months in operation).

  • Business plan: You must have a comprehensive business plan that includes financial projections for at least the next two years.

  • Citizenship: You must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.

  • Indigenous status: Your community must recognize you as an Indigenous person.

  • Personal investment: You must be able to contribute a minimum of 10% of the total financing required for your business.

  • Collateral: You must provide collateral or a personal guarantee for the loan.

  • Mentorship: You must be willing to work with a business mentor provided by Futurpreneur.

About the Programm

Futurpreneur Canada offers financing and support to indigenous entrepreneurs to help them start and grow successful businesses. Their Indigenous Entrepreneur Startup Program is designed to provide access to financing and mentorship for First Nations, Métis, and Inuit entrepreneurs aged 18-39 who are Canadian citizens or permanent residents. The program provides up to $60,000 in the financing, with repayment terms of up to 5 years and no repayments required for the first 12 months. This funding can be used for a variety of purposes, such as marketing, equipment, and working capital, to help indigenous entrepreneurs overcome the unique challenges they may face in starting and growing a business.
